Shackelford, McKinley & Norton aviation attorney David Mayer was featured in The Texas Lawbook for his partnership with the Corporate Angel Network to connect cancer patients with free, empty seats on private aircraft for travel to specialized care.  

Motivated by the loss of his grandfathers to cancer, Mayer is urging industry colleagues to coordinate these flights for patients and their caregivers. 

“It’s a simple yet crucial act of philanthropy to provide cancer patients with an empty seat on regular corporate or individual flights, enabling them to travel with you at no cost to specialized cancer care facilities,” Mr. Mayer said.
