Law.com recently featured King & Spalding after the law firm acquired a two-partner financing team from Winston & Strawn in Dallas, marking the third group of partners to move between the firms in three months.  

This move, involving partners Jeff Cole and Brian Jansen, supports King & Spalding’s expansion in the Texas market, according to the firm amid a broader talent drain at Winston & Strawn.  

Carolyn Alford, co-leader of King & Spalding’s finance and restructuring practice group, said the two additions “have practices that align directly with the firm’s core leveraged finance and private credit platform and will help us continue our strong growth in the Dallas market.”
