Attorney Will Moye, founder of catastrophic personal injury law firm Moye Law, and his client, are featured in The Houston Chronicle article “Sudden death of Canadian triathlete after race leads to investigation,” discussing the pending private investigation into the death of 49-year-old Jean-Francois Alain, who died after competing in the Galveston Ironman Triathlon April 7.
The article quotes both Mr. Moye and Mr. Alain’s wife regarding the medical attention Mr. Alain received after he signaled for help during the swimming portion of the race.
“There’s indications, at least now, that there was failure of some equipment, most notably a rescue boat of some kind,” Mr. Moye told The Houston Chronicle. “That required some additional emergency response outside of the planning for the boat.”
Fox 26 in Houston also interviewed Mr. Moye about the case on the 5 o’clock news.
