The Dallas Morning News Features Mesa Vista Ranch Lawsuit

Attorneys at Weisbart Springer Hayes have filed a trademark infringement lawsuit on behalf of the owners of the Mesa Vista Ranch, a 37,000-acre property originally developed by the late Texas oilman T. Boone Pickens.

The lawsuit alleges that a neighboring property owner is unlawfully using the Mesa Vista name in efforts to market their own property.

“There is great equity in the Mesa Vista brand, and Mr. Kent and his group are very serious in seeking to protect the brand, the ranch name, and the ranch’s valuable trademarks,” partner Geoff Weisbart tells The Dallas Morning News. “The great ranches across America have proven time and time again the value of these trademarks and ranch legacies, and it’s an honor to help preserve the Mesa Vista Ranch’s name, mark and goodwill.”
