Vartabedian Katz Hester & Haynes has rebranded following the addition of Marc Katz and his team from DLA Piper, a move reported by Law 360, The Texas Lawbook, and Texas Lawyer.  

The partnership combines the prior firm’s commercial litigation focus with Katz’s labor and employment expertise to offer a specialized alternative to big law for corporate clients. 

This transition highlights a trend of elite practitioners moving from large firms to agile, specialized boutiques. The firm is positioning itself to provide high-stakes, full-service litigation by leveraging a boutique structure for enhanced flexibility while maintaining sophisticated capabilities. 

“I’ve always wanted my practice to be able to focus on the clients and the clients’ interests, and be able to align myself fully in a holistic way with the clients that I represent. And having the model like they do at our new firm is going to allow me to do that in a really fantastic way,” Marc Katz said.
