Texas Public Radio published an article highlighting a ruling from a federal judge in San Antonio in a Sidley Austin LLP Pro Bono class action case involving 4,500 plaintiffs with intellectual and developmental disabilities being housed in Texas nursing home facilities. 

The judge ruled that the state has been illegally placing those individuals in these facilities for decades. The Sidley attorneys were a part of a legal team that included the Center for Public Representation, and Disability Rights Texas.
