Veteran Houston police officer Richard Fernandez, Jr., represented by Rusty Hardin & Associates and attorney J. Scott Siscoe were recently interviewed for a Texas Standard podcast about a lawsuit filed against gun manufacturer Sig Sauer, Inc. and Houston firearms dealer CTC Gunworks LLC.  

In the lawsuit Mr. Fernandez says he was shot in the leg when his service weapon spontaneously fired without ever handling the weapon or pulling the trigger. 

“I want them (Sig Sauer) to fix their defective weapon, before it continues to hurt people, and kill people, says Fernandez. “All my friends now are having to buy new weapons because Sig has a defective weapon that they keep selling to law enforcement.”
