This action marks the sixth trademark-related legal challenge led by Swift’s team since February 2024 to prevent trademark dilution. The move follows similar enforcement strategies, including blocking a retail company from using “Swift Home” on products.
Mr. Panneton said, “For Taylor Swift, her name is not a normal piece of personal information. Indeed, for Ms. Swift, her name is a global commercial asset tied to music, tours, merchandise, endorsements, and licensing deals worth hundreds of millions of dollars.”
