NBC 5 interviewed Jennifer Trulock, a partner at Bradley Arant Boult Cummings in Dallas, to discuss the key rules Texas employers must follow regarding paid time off for voting in the 2024 election.
“If your workday started at 8:30 and it goes until 5:30 or 6, then you have a situation where your two hours to vote would infringe on your workday and you might get some paid time off there,” Ms. Trulock told KXAS. That’s a situation where you want to talk to your employer.”
