Michael Lyons with the Lyons & Simmons Law Firm was featured on CBS News Texas giving his expert analysis about the investigation into the March 2026 gas explosion in the community of Lake Dallas that critically injured a resident. The homeowner was rescued by neighbors before the home was destroyed. Investigations by Atmos Energy and state officials identified a leak in an aging gas main that has led to a lawsuit by Lyons against the utility company. A subsequent investigation by CBS News Texas revealed that an unknown amount of faulty plastic gas lines may remain in place in the area.
