Donna Diamond, the widow of UPS pilot Dana Diamond, filed a wrongful death lawsuit against Boeing, General Electric, and VT San Antonio Aerospace following the catastrophic November 2025 plane crash in Louisville.
Represented by the Lanier Law Firm, the suit alleges negligence and strict product liability after reports indicated the aircraft’s left engine detached during takeoff. The accident was devastating, claiming the lives of all three crew members and 12 individuals on the ground.
In recent interviews with several Kentucky local TV media outlets, Diamond opened up about the profound emotional toll of the tragedy and shared the final message she received from her husband. Her legal action seeks systemic accountability, centering on the claim that the crash was a preventable disaster caused by mechanical and maintenance failures. By speaking out, she hopes to ensure such a failure never happens again while honoring the memory of those lost.
