The Lanier Law Firm partner Ryan Ellis was featured in a news report on KAKE, ABC affiliate in Wichita, Kansas after a Kansas federal court granted class action status to a lawsuit against Union Pacific Corp regarding hazardous waste contamination from a rail yard near 29th and Grove Streets. The class alleges that toxic chemicals, including cancer-causing agents, contaminated soil and groundwater impacting thousands of properties across northeast Wichita.  

Mr. Ellis represents over 1,700 Wichita homeowners in the class action and l. characterized the federal court’s certification of the class as a crucial step in holding the rail company accountable and securing compensation for the installation of home vapor mitigation systems.
