Marianne Robak, partner at Shackleford, McKinley & Norton, appeared in an investigative segment on Inside Edition that explored the firm’s lawsuit on behalf of more than 30 couples suing the owner of Houston-based Surrogacy Escrow Account Management (SEAM). Couples accuse the company of misappropriating millions of dollars worth of funds intended to pay for surrogate care and medical expenses.

“These families have lost a lot more than just money,” said Ms. Robak. “They’ve lost their hope for their future families, and that that is just reprehensible.”
