Fox 4 News recently aired a segment on the surge in demand for short-term rentals in North Texas amid the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup. The station spoke with David Coale, partner at Lynn Pinker Hurst & Schwegmann, who represents the Dallas Short Term Rental Alliance in ongoing litigation against the city of Dallas.

“It’s unlikely that the Texas Supreme Court is going to intervene in this case in a way that significantly changes where we sit right now legally,” said Mr. Coale.
