NBC 5 Dallas interviewed Bradley partner and employment law attorney, Jennifer Trulock on election voting during a workday and what legal rights employees have when taking time off to vote during work hours.
“The boss gets to adjust for business needs and business necessities. So just because there may be a number of people who are in the same boat that you are, you know can just be like, hey I’m leaving at five today. Instead, you talk to your boss or manager and then maybe he or she can stagger absences throughout the day,” said Trulock.
