Blizzard Greenberg’s sexual assault case against an Austin-area apartment complex was featured by local media outlets, including CBS Austin and the Austin American-Statesman.  

CBS Austin features Blizzard Greenberg’s name partner Anna Greenberg and her client during the 10 p.m. newscast and online in the article, “Sexual assault victim sues Austin apartment complex over broken lock.” 

The lawsuit alleges that the complex failed to repair a broken lock on the victim’s sliding glass door despite repeated maintenance requests over a year. According to the complaint, a predator was able to gain access into the unit through the same door and sexually assault the victim when she was asleep in her own bed.  

“Here in this case, we had two tenants who repeatedly reported that this backdoor lock was broken, and the property management company did nothing to fix it,” Ms. Greenberg told CBS.  

The case was also featured in an Austin American-Statesman article titled, “Austin woman sues apartment for not fixing broken lock that she says led to assault.”
